The Cybersec Europe 2024 conference was held in Brussels Expo, between the 29-30th of May 2024.
I had the opportunity to attend the conference and I must say, it was a great experience. There were lots of industry leaders and professionals, but also smaller companies and startups. There were a few talks that I found interesting, but my highlight was the opportunity to listen and talk to Petra de Sutter, the Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium.
I also had the opportunity to talk with people from Datacenter United, a company that is growing rapidly in the datacenter industry in Belgium and Cegeka, the current majority owner of Citymesh.
One thing I found interesting is that Cloudflare was missing from the conference, but I guess there might have been reasons I can’t come up with. Let’s hope they’ll be joining next year.
